Let's now talk about Journey and Destination.
The postulate we are trying to answer: Is the Journey EVER the destination? Let's say you were told you're flying to Japan. You have been told that there will be lots of activities as it's an adventure trip. Assume: You have no choice in the matter, you must go. This is neither positive nor negative, it just is. Whether you want to go or not, is immaterial, as you must go. And you could be happy or sad due to leaving for any number of reasons and this could happen. At that point you're going to have a lot of questions, presumably. Two ways you can handle it, ignore it....and expect the following: If you ignore it, on the day of your trip, you'll likely be rather anxious, almost certainly unprepared. You may not have enough time, a day or even three days prior to the trip, to prepare for your trip. You'll end up at your destination unable to participate in some of the activities because the ski trip required specialized skis and the hiking specialized boots and because you suffered from allergies of a particular japanese fish and you got an allergic reaction as you hadn't researched this. In this example, you simply flailed through the pre-trip period and just showed up unprepared. However, if you're prepared.... If you prepared, you'd be on the internet understanding what you need and where you may need to purchase the items necessary for a successful trip.
The above are all part of the journey. Are you staying at any of these places in preparation for your destination Japan?
Again, I could go on. So now the question is, say you did all of these things in preparation for your destination. Is any of the journey items your destination? No. The Journey is never your destination. So how could the journey of life ever be a destination in any capacity, when we're all facing the ultimate destination of death or beyond? Doesn't it behoove us to prepare for it? The how to prepare is also a part of it. If you don't know how. Then doesn't it behoove us to find out how? It's the ultimate destination for which there are many postulates but only one has soundness in the way they connect both the pre life, the current life, and the after life elegantly.
