Setting up to win the ultimate game.

Chaos and Infinity

At first glance, Chaos and Infinity may seem unrelated, perhaps even contradictory. However, as we delve deeper, we will uncover the profound connection between these two states of being. This website aims to guide your mind through a pattern, using analogy, logic, and rationality, to convey the concept of existence as we perceive it, and possibly to understand existence beyond our current perception.

This exploration is deeply personal. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to this postulation; it is individual, and the sum of your experiences will shape your understanding.

It is your ambition that must drive you to determine your purpose and its significance.

Let’s start with an essential truth: If we exist, we must die. Ignoring this reality and living as if we are immortal is a denial of existence and justice.

Modern society often dismisses the notion that our universe is created by an intelligence beyond our understanding. Instead, the prevailing belief is that our organized existence is the product of a random, chaotic set of events. These events occurred so frequently—trillions upon trillions of times—that one such random event eventually led to the formation of our organized natural universe and the Earth we inhabit.

Purposeful Placement and Action

I offer an observation: each object has a source, possesses dependent properties, and serves a purpose.

Nothing exists in isolation. Whether studied over short spans (like the speed of light) or very long periods (millions of years), everything has a reason for existence, a purpose. Even a simple rock has served a purpose, depended on something else, and may even be depended upon.

This is indisputable:

    •    Dependence: Everything has a source or continues to depend on something else.
    •    Purpose: Everything serves a purpose, either by depending on something or being depended upon.
Chaos or System

When we view the larger world, whether from a macro or universal perspective, we find purpose in almost everything. This is the crux of my argument: the systematic nature of the world around us.

Despite the growing belief that the universe came into existence by an infinitesimally small random or chaotic chance, such as the Big Bang, we observe that everything following this event adheres to organized principles. Whether animate or inanimate, everything that emerged from the so-called random Big Bang now follows systematic, purposeful, and organized principles.

For those who believe we emerged from nothingness or a random set of events, this would be the sequence of events:

    1.    Randomness of nothing or “something out of nothing”
    2.    → led to → Big Bang
    3.    → which led to → organization and systematic principles
    4.    → which continue to govern the universe to this day
    5.    → all principles established by humans on Earth also follow these organized, non-random principles

For example, making roads is not random, making homes is not random. Pick anything humans do; it is all deliberate and organized. Nothing of value created by humans is random but rather well thought out, designed, and systematic. The more systematic, the better.

Really?

Does that even make sense? How can something that is random, lead to suddenly being organized?

So this leads me to my next point,
  • Does randomness EVER lead to Organization?

What's further, is that without this systematic manner in which the elements now act and interact with one another around us in the universe and on our planet, we wouldn't be able to survive on earth. And as we continue to discover, with the advancement of technology, that if the world wasn't organized or systematic as we see today, the world would end.

Picture
Examples of Systems
An obvious one that we are taught are the systems of planets. Our planets follow a very specific path, around the sun, with planets on a very precise set schedule. We actually set our watches by this schedule. It may not be immediately apparent, but an educated human will understand that we are following a set schedule. The daytime appears, and then the night which has been happening since prior to the dawn of humans. So it can be stated that they (the planets, sun, moon, etc) do not operate randomly, or chaotically, but are rather organized and regulated.

Through studying our own solar system, we know that if gravity or the earth's distance from the Sun changes ever so slightly, by perhaps by a few metres, our earth or universe would no longer exist, or come to an end.
Human Made Systems
Taking this thought a few steps further, human-made systems embody principles that we build things upon. They all come from organized thought, plans and principles and not random or chaotic design. When implemented they are designed to stay organized. If they become disorganized, through external intervention, they are quickly brought back to organization just by themselves. The natural state of any random or chaotic event is for it to move back, naturally, to an non-chaotic placement IF it is to be depended upon by another system. Otherwise it would be called 'broken'.

An example of this are
highways and buildings, and laws that we abide by. They are not chaotic, they are organized. And if they become chaotic, they are quickly brought back to organization if they are to be depended upon.

We rely on systems to make progress in life and we rely on the natural systems to stay systematic themselves to ensure the world we live in remain as such, as a means to keep sustaining our lives.

So the question to ask: if we rely on organized design to live our lives,  how could chaos or randomness lead to our current organized existence? When there isn't a single example in the universe that demonstrates that chaos or randomness ever leads to dependable organization or system.
So for the big bang,
...for every known thing to us in the universe is organized and systematic,

...the original bang had to be organized and systematic.

...while we can effect organization to things that are man-made in this world, we could not possibly go back and effect organization to things in our solar system or prior to existence of the universe. It is impossible.

....therefore it had to be designed to be organized or systematic to begin with.
You may stop here if you believe in chaos as your reason for existence.

If this is the case, then what is your purpose in life?

If you do have a purpose, are you happy or does it give you joy that it is confined to just your short life?
And do you feel compelled with your purpose in that it will not be timeless and no one really cares?

Or, you can read further about the probabilities that this world may not be so random after all?

If you believe in intelligence then the question is why and what does this intelligence want. But we will tackle this question later in the site.
Again, I am NOT at all postulating what this creator is. Is it a man in the sky with a beard? is it energy? is it Zeus....whatever you want to call it. Let's try to explore this later.

I am for now postulating, is there intelligence above ours? or is there nothing? If "nothing" is even possible.

Let's continue to unpack this.....
If you don't believe in intelligence prior to the universe, then the only argument is it was chaotic or randomness that led to its existence.

If this is your path, it will generally mean you don't believe in a creator. If such is the case, then you've decided the following,

- you believe randomness can lead to organization.

Which you believe only occurred once ever, at the time of the creation of the universe.

Here's an example of that, you believe that if you throw complete parts of a wristwatch up in the air, even though you have no proof of them ever coming together, you still believe that they will become a watch if thrown together randomly enough times.

-  you take issue with the majority of the world, ie, seven billion people have some sort of belief in a greater being.  However flawed, many people believing in a supernatural being is too much to ignore,
- you'd rather take your chances on the ONLY truth that we know, ie, death, and what may or may not happen afterwards,
- you believe the journey is the destination, when it is unusual to believe so even in everyday life attainment of goals,

-  human's are the smartest existence on earth and we are mini-gods, ie, create our own existence,
- you've become lazy because someone's misconception of "God" didn't rightfully agree with yours and you've decided that they are to blame and you will go no further in your investigation.....

I really could go on .... I don't blame you for not believing, I do however wonder why, when the odds are stacked against unbelief, that any thinking person would choose passiveness would rather ignore the destination.

There are two possible choices now:
  1. Belief in an intelligence or designer as the instigator of the universe, or,
  2. Belief in nothing before the world?

(a popular trending opinion is there were multiple universes -multiverses - before ours, but where did they come from? As you regress, ad-infinitum you'll ultimately end up with "nothing" at the very beginning again or the same answer ad-infinitum.)

This is not about whether there is a "Man with a beard" in the sky, it's about if a greater intelligence is at work here, or....supreme being that no one has been able to truly describe and should not be limited to a pedantic "man with a beard"....

Popular opinion theorizes randomness before the Big Bang leads to an organized universe....
Most believers in an intelligence seem to not fully comprehend a God but have "faith". This is not what I'm suggesting that you do at all. This way of thinking is flawed, fragile, and most of all, and importantly doesn't drive purpose.

This "faith" is not belief in something sound, it is based on someone else telling us what they believe (extremely fragile and lazy) and then following that belief blindly, or inheriting belief and all that comes along with it.

This will never convince you deeply that the path you are taking is correct. In fact, it will move one away from belief from an intelligent creator given the foundation was so weak in the first place.

It is not the norm to ever build something on faith. It is however the norm to build upon principles you know are true, for them to be sound.  It requires more thought. Maybe it will convince you in the short term because you got emotionally involved, but if you don't engage your intellect then your belief will fall apart.

The world around us is full of these fake "believers"... there are more people who call themselves "believers" in God than Atheists. This is why the world around us is run as if by people acting like non-believers.

What do these people who claim to believe but then do things at odds with this belief,
- making money comes before anything, and will even lie, cheat, cut corners in business
- pollute the environment to a point where life, whether animal or humans suffer
- will treat animals (eg, cows, chickens), like machines to maximize production while they live in detrimental conditions

I'm not talking about unbelievers, I'm talking about people who claim to "believe" and claim to have moral fabric.

Reasonable Thought

Below is proof that belief in intelligence above ours is the most reasonable path. We will then get into the why's, and how we should view this intelligent creator and what it means to us as humans, the only animal who's intelligence is exceeded by far on the planet, with one other attribute, Will Power!
Picture
Let's start with the first step, completely wipe clean any preconceived leanings, especially if they are based on unsound evidence.

It is presumed that when you throw a dice you are doing so to win, same as when you're doing anything in life.  You approach everything in life to succeed, never to purposely fail. Provided of course that you're a reasonable person.

No one ever ever lives life to lose or plays a game to lose.

There is always an attempt at benefit, even status quo could be considered "benefit", to every decision we humans make.

We make decisions all day long and we aim to, generally speaking, never purposefully sabotage our own decisions to fail.

If you do, then stop here, as that would be considered unreasonable and thus you're not a person who can conclude anything.

On the Reasonableness of Your Decisions

Let's see if we make decisions reasonably.

What choice would you make, if you were told that there was a door with potentially, not for certain but potentially, a million dollars behind a door. Would you at least check and open the door?
ChaostoinfinityChoice1
Would you simply walk away or would you consider that indeed there would be potential gain should you open the door.

When you consider your ease of choices, the decision you would make is somewhat obvious.
Walk Away and Guarantee a Loss
Clearly if there was a million dollars and you walked away, you'd stand to lose. However, if you opened the door and there wasn't a stash of money behind it, then you're no worse off.

Open the Door and Guarantee a Potential to Win
The reasonable decision here would be to check for the potential of gain. Sure if the person asking the questions is a consummate liar you may play the odds and walk away, but do you lose anything to actually check? Except for maybe the time it takes to open the door.
Picture
Decisions are always made to benefit or stay safe, never to sabotage your own life
If put another way, say you have no choice, the most reasonable decision is to check as the overall result would include the possibility of profit.

Let's try another
In this scenario, you have a seed to grow a tree, and you have a choice whether to plant it or not. You do not know whether the seed is any good. So if they are bad, they won't grow anyway. What would you do? Again all things being reasonably easy (to plant). The best outcome again is to try. All the other outcomes are either negative or inconsequential as demonstrated below.
The obvious choice is to try the seed out, for any other decision makes no sense.

The cases where you wouldn't plant the seed would be if you didn't have time, it was not worth your time, etc. We make balanced choices like these everyday. And ultimately the reasons may not be good enough for you to plant it.
Problem: To plant a seed, but you don't know whether it's good or not:
ChaostoinfinityImage2
However, if you were offered NO CHOICE but to choose one or the other, then you would wager to win, and there is only one way to win ......plant the seed and play the odds.
This may be a good time to also reflect on if the journey can ever be the destination. I've posted a blog to elicit commentary.

The Ultimate Game: To Set Up to Win in Death Choice

The reality is that we have no choice but to make this decision because we have no choice in death and if we do the only logical decision is to try to win. You can go two ways, 1) either make a decision or, 2) be passive, or there is a third, 3) worst of all make the knowingly destructive decision.

So in this situation, you're faced with the ultimate decision, if you are reading this, you are in the game.

You have been forced to play a game called life and with it inevitably death. We have no choice in the matter, but to live it and cannot escape this death. There is only ONE reasonable way to put yourself into a winning position.

You have two choices essentially, ignore one, or commit yourself to the other and set up to win.
The "ultimate" choice, if you are alive, is presented in such a way that you have NO choice but to make a decision - you have no choice but to play this game. Turns out that most people make this decision by simply ignoring it, being passive. Yes ignoring it is a decision, and you are saying "no" or are refraining from from an overt decision. But you are still playing the game.

If the above "games" (tree and million dollar door) are obvious ones, then why shouldn't the most significant choice also be thought of profitably? Instead, the majority ignore the after death possibility and choose to be passive about it and a very small percentage actually declare "Atheism".

Instead we go about our daily lives to maximize our enjoyment in this life (for temporary wealth, temporary materiality, temporary prestige/power and temporary praise) with little or no regard for the ultimate goal - to work for what may come after death, the ultimate goal. High praise, materiality if in fact you think it through is a zero sum game. After all we came into this world naked, and interestingly leave naked, i.e. with nothing of what we materially earned.

Can You Afford to Ignore This?

The Problem: Whether to believe or not to believe in intelligence, or  "something", when you don't know the outcome after death.

chaostoinfinitychoice3
The wager sets forth whether to believe in a God or not. The consequences of your decision could be profound.  Again as in the above examples, to select non-belief or become passive about it will result in either nothingness or a severe loss (possibility of hell).
The most reasonable bet is to believe in an intelligence, and that you'll take the no-lose or less-lose proposition. Isn't it? If you don't think so, make a comment on the contact form and connect with me.

This doesn't mean you actually believe in a God, nor do you gain insights into what this so called "God" wants, what it looks like, or why, or what your purpose is.

The ONLY thing this "wager" should do is open the possibility that this is a no-lose proposition and that I lose nothing to be a "believer".  I will win in the end and never lose if I choose to use the words "I believe or I will become a seeker" and begin the journey of inquisitiveness.

All it means is that you're stacking the probabilities in your favour to not lose if you're a skeptic, or to set yourself up to win. Even if there is no God, you win.

Will you win just by saying, "I'll take the bet?" or now that we open the possibility, wouldn't we want to know what this "God" wants and what this universe is all about? After all, we've now opened up an immense idea that was never seriously considered before?
Well, if you'll take the bet and there is an intelligence then don't you have an immense amount of other questions?

Can we infact strengthen this proposition? What does it want?
So here are some questions:
  • How is there "something"?
  • What does it want?
  • Is it indeed a God? or something else?
  • What are its qualities?
  • Is He a "man" in the sky with a beard?...etc, etc....

I'll take the bet. Now onto the finding out more on this entity.....
Picture
So now what? Well first, read on only if you choose to go down this path of belief. This website assumes you are reasonable, and will choose "I will seek this designer". If you don't, stop here, because nothing will sway you as you're not a reasonable or rational person.

If you are convinced that, belief in the probability that there is "something" intelligent, and it is the best most profitable choice, then let's now build on this and start to put a name to this intelligence, creator, or designer that may have built the universe.

Or do we need more in the way of proofs of an intelligence behind the creation of the universe?

Let's now move to the next logical step--->
